As you know, i’m Wren.

today our verse is Psalm 46:1 from the NLT version.

God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.

in this verse, it tells us that God is our refuge, and he always hears us, no matter what is going on.

as a 17 year old homeschooling student in 11th grade, my goodness 2024 has been a year of chaos. But my Mom has always been able to help me. April 30th 2024 was the most difficult day this year. It was the day I very badly injured my writing hand. I was helping my parents unload a storage unit, the cart got stuck, and I pulled and pushed and pulled, but in that mess, my wrist bent back wrong, and my thumb was pushed down. My doctor called it a “traumatic injury to the left thumb “

It turned out I had sprained my wrist, badly sprained my thumb, and later they discovered I had a mallet thumb. On July 3rd, I got surgery for my thumb, and I’m doing a bit better.

Now you might be wondering about my music. Let me tell you about my music!

I started writing songs in 2021, and I’m still writing. My songs are about Faith, God’s love, and Hope. In my newest song, which I’m still working on, is from different scriptures in the Bible, like Joshua 1:9, Jeremiah 29:11-13, and Psalm 46:1. I named it , Strong in the Lord. It reminds us to be strong in hard times.

No matter what we face, God will meet us on the other side.

Remember Psalm 46:1, and when you are struggling, remember that verse as well.
