Hi again!!!!

hi everyone! Today I’m going to share my favorite hymn of hope.

it’s called, The solid rock.

My hope is built, on nothing less, than Jesus’ blood and righteousness; I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly trust in Jesus’ name.

On christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand, all other ground is sinking sand.

Some versions read the Chorus as : Christ alone, cornerstone, weak made strong, in the savior’s love, through the storm, he is Lord, Lord of all.

Which Chorus do you like better?

Psalm 125: 1-2 is our verse that goes with our hymn today. (NLT)

Those who trust in the Lord are as secure as Mount Zion; they will not be defeated but will endure forever. Just as the mountains surrounded Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people, both now and forever.

Let’s pray.

God, you are Worthy, you surround us with your love. You are our rock eternal, our steadfast hope, our Lord forever. Help me to put my hope in you, and trust you completely. Lord, I will praise you forever, you are my God.
